Our client is a leading youth, social enterprise organisation that is headquartered in Canada. 
The organisation focuses on harnessing and transforming youth into leaders in their communities through technology and social entrepreneurship learning experiences. 
The position is based in Nairobi.

To meet the needs of new programmes, the organization wishes to recruit an Alumni and Events Officer. 
The position reports to The Communications and Fundraising Manager. The key responsibilities include:
  • Creation and maintenance of Alumni data base
  • Manage and maintain the in-Country Alumni Relations,
  • Contribute in development of national alumni strategy
  • Overall responsibility and liaison of all Alumni engagement and communications
  • Budget drafting and monitoring for Alumni program and events
  • Marketing of internship Program to potential employers of outgoing Interns
  • Contribute articles on Alumni network
  • Develop and manage the Alumni annual calendar
  • Maintain a data base and resource centre of all alumni documents etc
The Pre-requisites
  • A Bachelors Degree Social Science or equivalent
  • Training in Public Relations is an added advantage
  • 3 years experience working with community
  • High level of technology proficiency.
  • Experience in working with Alumni is an added advantage.
