KALONZO has not and will never vie to replace MUTULA KILONZO - Wiper Chair DAVID MUSILA.

Wednesday June 5, 2013 - Wiper Democratic Movement party has denied allegations that it was fronting former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka to vie for the Makueni Senatorial seat in the coming by-election scheduled for July 22nd.
This follows earlier media reports that indicated that there was a likelihood of the former VP vying for the Makueni seat that was left vacant following the death of the late Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo on a Wiper ticket.

However, speaking today, the Wiper Chairman, David Musila, dismissed the rumour saying it was unfounded, mendacious and in bad faith.

Musila noted that Kalonzo Musyoka had made it clear himself that he was no longer interested in getting back to either Parliament or Senate, a stand he still holds.
He confirmed that the party had not fronted anyone but was in consultation with Makueni people to see who will best fly the Wiper flag come July 22nd.
