Judge Francis Gikonyo objected to the application where he ordered the case to proceed to full trial.

Judge Gikonyo asked the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and Wetangula to serve Kombo with their applications and deferred the ruling on the matter.

Kombo had filed a poll petition urging the court to nullify elections of Wetangula since he stole votes in some polling stations during the March 4th poll.

Kombo also told the court the Nigerians who accompanied him during his campaigns were visiting MPs and not magicians as Wetangula alleged.
