NEWS: HASSAN hails Kenyans for electing UHURU/RUTO despite the opposition from US and BRITAIN.

Retired Tanzanian President, Ali Hassan Mwinyi, has hailed Kenyans for resisting pressure from the US and UK in the March 4 elections.
Speaking during the first graduation ceremony at the East African University in Kitengela where he was also officially installed as the first Chancellor, Mwinyi noted that Kenyans sent a very strong message to the whole world when they elected Uhuru/Ruto despite threats by the West of dire consequences if the two emerged victorious.

Mwinyi called on Kenyans to be proud of themselves for putting the prophets of doom who never wished well for Kenya to shame.

“You should be proud of yourselves for sending a very strong message to the whole world that you are more united than ever and that you picked Uhuru and Ruto as your leaders regardless of the pressure from the US and UK”, he said.

He urged other African countries to borrow a leaf from Kenya, saying it is only when we stand united for a common good that the West will take Africa serious.
