NEWS: ODM will form the NEXT GOVERNMENT come 2017, whether you like it or not - JOHN KETORA.

Tuesday June 4, 2013 - The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader, John Ketora has once again reassured Kenyans that his party will form the next Government.
This comes amid intense lobbying within Raila Odinga’s ODM party for the position of CEO.

Speaking to Journalists in Nairobi yesterday, Ketora said that ODM will consider young people for seniormost positions to give the party fresh impetus to clinch the Presidency in 2017.

He noted that ODM needs a manager, a technocrat, a dedicated full time individual and someone who understands politics but has no political ambitions - a Chief Executive to re-organize and steer the party into power come the 2017 elections.

Ketora called on the selection committee to consider qualified youths for the top job based on merit and not ethnicity, to ensure that ODM forms the next Government come what may.

The Youth League has fronted the son of the former Rachuonyo MP Phoebe Asiyo, Ceasar Asiyo to take over from Janet Ongera as the ODM C.E.O.

Ongera has since been nominated to the Senate and therefore cannot hold any position in a political party.
